Yes, with turbo charging and higher revs + better Materials. Just Look at the New Alfa 4c 1,8l and 240hp! Thank you .
@SpeedSpeedmaster Great A! Upgraded the cooling I see. All the ones around me are swapped to a B series motor.
Once owned a 1937 Morgan, unfortunately no pics. , with the Coventry Climax side valve unit, 1098cc producing 42 b.h.p. Boy that was fun, brisk and with cable drum brakes
Thanks . Yes electric Fan with a manual switch, only realy need it in very hot days or for inner city stoplight traffic. I thought about swapping to a B Series Engine for a while, but as you said there are only so few Original ones left nowadays. And as with vintage watches, originality is king . Plus with all drum brakes and no seatbelts the urge for more Speed isn't that high ^^.
Damn! just when you thought the last of these things had rusted away! you could smell the raw fuel and half burned 20w40 being dumped into the atmosphere from 500m back! Laughed my ass off for the next 20 km.......
yeah...... 7" round headlamps were visible in the rearview as I left it behind...... '77ish? it was occupied by a pair of blond chicks who seemed to be having a great time. I was a bit envious really. Gave the wife and I a good laugh anyway. Cleaned out the garage today, always a dangerous thing to do but we must prep the shop for the upcoming work on the Honda (66), anyway, dragged the old Jawa, a '77 350, out of its corner and, in a moment of pity, gave the old lump a bath..... the last sticker on its licence plate is from 1991, obviously need to clean more often! anyway... the old girl cleans up well..... I should either licence her again or sell her on I guess. Shame as I bought it new.
Watkins Glen - pouring rain on Day 1 but we still went out. My GT-R and friends' 328 xDrive. Day 2 was perfect - turning race pads and tires into dust. Me chasing a nice Z06
@destroid I'm all about vintage (watches and cars), but that display is very cool! Good driving, as well. Cheers, Tony C.
Yes, that's a Jaguar V12. Individual throttle body fully programmable electronic fuel-injection. Click for a bigger pic.
Continuing the Jaguar vein. Mmmmm D Types ... And a Lancia D50, terric noise but clearly a lot of fettling....
Spotted this bad boy in SoCal. Considering 25% of all Porsche production comes here. This the the first not a Porsche, Porsche I've seen on the street.
