Like the blue Alpine A110, and is that a Renault-Alpine GTA in the back row?

A mate sent me these pics, this is sensational.
I had a couple of MGA’s and numerous MGB’s as well as a MGC.
Always maintained that the MGA handled better probably because of the full chassis.
MGA V8 god damn!! That surely won't be far off the performance of an AC Cobra.. what kind of breaks are on this??

Is that Stirling Moss's Maserati 300S

Maserati 300S yes, Stirling's I doubt.

I'm trying to remember when I took these. Must have been in the 1990s -- could have been the end of open testing late afternoon before an East Anglia Lotus Club track evening.

In all seriousness, I do believe it is at Snetterton?
It's the cafe visible through the back door of the garage that makes me think so.

It's the number 7 that made me think of Sterling Moss and his 300s..

Here's a nice bit of footage I came across of Sterling giving his appraisal of his Aston Martin DBR1, D type and C type Jaguar's, Maserati 300s, and his Mercedes 300 SLR that he won the Mille Miglia with. (starts at 35:30)

I once spent 12 hours continuously on the pit-wall at Snett. I had the signal board, Peter Warr (ex Team Manager at Lotus and Wolf) had the watches and the lap-chart. Before the start of the race I was so excited expecting that I was going to to hear many tales of his F1 days. What I actually heard was "twenty three point six, three laps", etc, for 12 hours. I put the numbers on the board, stood up, showed the board to our car, crouched down, put the new numbers on the board, stood up ..... Four times he said "I'm going for a pee."

It hurt to walk for several days after that! But somewhere (TM) I have a small plaque presented as a member of a class-winning team at the Holly Birkett 12-hour Relay Race. Peter Warr was also the winner of the first Japanese GP, but it was for sports cars then, not F1.

Edit: all but one Birkitts have been 6 hours, this was the 50th anniversary event on 10th June 2000 which was the only 12 hour race. Thought I had been dreaming until I tracked down this https://www.750mc.co.uk/ugc-1/1/92/0/2000_snetterton_10th_june_birkett.pdf We were team number 6, but we had T-shirts proclaiming "Team Six Sixes" not the entered name.

😁😁😁
Can you imagine what it would have been like working with, and managing the likes of Rindt, Senna, Fittipaldi, Mansell etc..
.. and having Colin Chapman as your boss

Random parking garage sighting today.

I love the fact that the Vantage has become "affordable". Even in a 6 speed.
I saw this one and was like...dang. I would love to have this in the garage.
Plus, I will own a set of TE37's one day....one day lol.

I'm struggling to see how this turns left or right, maybe it's an optical illusion but surely the tires are gonna hit the arch with the slightest turn of the steering wheel?
Yeah, they're really nice and as you say surprisingly affordable, if you do decide to take the plunge, only go for one with a full up-to-date Aston Martin service history, as they can be really serious money pits, I've been down this road before.. more than once🙁

I saw Magnus in his 76 Turbo on Santa Monica Blvd this morning…but I was too slow to get my camera out. Here is a photo of it in any case.
