Very interesting article, thank you..
That number 2 Aston squeezed up against the hoardings behind Surtees 250 GTO was driven by Jim Clark of all people..
The words Zagato Aston-Martin take me to straight to the first picture. Clark used to look for his photographer friends and gesture them to where he wanted them on a corner then next time round have the car in that attitude.

You're absolutely right, if you zoom in, it looks as if he's looking right into the camera in this image:

I don't believe there has been a lot of 2 wheeled action in this thread but I have got to share this.
I've seen plenty of Isle of Man videos but none like this.
I'll still maintain that Group B is some of the craziest shit on 4 wheels, but this, this is another level.
If you watch only :30 seconds of this video make sure it is from 11:45-12:15

And I'll follow that insanity up with one of the most - somehow peaceful (and one of my personal favorite), videos on YT.

Hang on tight! I always forget we have a motorcycle thread but I think they deserve their place here as well. Road racers are a different breed.

A T is a good choice.

It has E pistons he says.

I was worried that he wouldn't fit or that it would kill his back but he said it was comfortable and handled like a dream.

I just can't believe anybody held onto a car for 47 years.

Saw one of these today, a really cool local creation called a Bullet based on a heavily re-engineered Miata chassis. This particular one is an early pre-production model with a Toyota 1UZ-FE V8 out of a Soarer / SC400

Went to a local car meetup this morning. Porsche heavily repping for all you Porscheholics.

I’ll start with my favorite first. A ‘64 and a GT4.
