You know in a few decades those Alfas will still be alive while all the cars with custom ASICs in them on the market today will end up much like the 80s quartz watches that can’t be saved anymore without donors

Wife and I traded in our 2018 Fiesta ST for a 2021 GTI Clubsport a few weeks back. 😎

I wasn't so fond of the new Golf/GTI design when it was first announced, but I think the gti Clubsport edition looks superb.

Oh nice! I sure wish we got the CS here in the States.
Only seen a couple of the MK8 GTI's in the wild so far. There is just no inventory on the ground here.

Sorry, but no help to you for a lead on a shell. Check out E9coupe group?

I bought this one as a clean rolling shell 21 years ago now. Even back then it was tough to find a good one. As you know, The Karmann supplied sheet metal is some weird steel alloy that rusts -even when you look at it funny 😉 . It took some practice to MIG weld Coupe sheet metal when compared to American “iron”.
Triple webers on a 12.5:1 M90, mated to a C/R dogleg 5 sp. gearbox in this one. 2596 pounds empty weight when run across the scale at the dump last time through.

dang that’s a rare bird, I’d always wanted to do an S50 or even go all out with an S54 for the ultimate BMW inline 6 coupe.

I currently DD the e9’s spiritual child with an s54.

is yours a true CSL? If so didn’t those have wierd sheet metal to begin with?

I tried to build an E30 M3 but it did not go as planned haha
