In 1968 these were probably the most technologically advanced mass production cars on the planet. Front disk brakes, independent rear suspension, and electronic fuel injection.
Not a lot of them left that are still FI hah.
But I'm looking forward to learning about carburetors...I think!
Any guesses as to the owner of this? Besides the wing and the lack of rear doors what else is non-standard for a 1967/68 848cc Mini Van?
Ooops, forgot to provide the answer. Here we go...
Other non-standard items on this van are Cooper "S" wheels, which because they have a different offset to the drum or 998 Cooper wheels means there has to be "S" suspension & brakes behind them. And, I expect, "Why don't we drop in an "S" engine too?"
