Authenticity check

Hey everyone,
I am currently looking for a replacement for my worn 2252.50 speedmaster box. I saw 2 different listings for a late 90s/early 2000s Omega Watch Box as a replacement for my old one. They look similar except for the silver medallion. One medallion looks more glossy and less brushed like the other. My original box is brushed as well. I’m not sure if it is just the camera angle and lighting or it actually looks different? It’s interesting because the one that looks glossy has a complete set sold with it and supposedly legitimate authenticity cards etc. Meanwhile the one that is brushed and similar to mine doesn’t so it technically makes that more risky?

The pictures aren't really good enough to be sure but I am 75% sure the second is fake. The first is starting to delaminate which is a sign it is real, as the real thing turns to red dust eventually. There were in fact 2 distinct styles of box in use from 1995-2010 so the second might just be the larger later version but I'd want more pics, especially of the warranty card to be sure. The later version is more resistant to crumbling in my experience.

Those prices seem steep. In my head a good red box should be found for less than $100 with a bit of patience.

Wow yeah the prices I have seen vary from 100-200 usually I haven’t really seen one below that for the past week or two I’ve searched. I was wondering if there were different styles of it produced. Here is the full link, but yeah I was thinking about the same, thanks!

Thank you for posting the link. I can confirm the second is 100% fake. Look at the warranty card, complete fabrication. Those crappy fake sets are sold by far east vendors for like $25 or so.
