The watch appears to have been running as indicated by the fact that about 3 minutes elapsed over the time the three pictures showing the face were taken. Maybe ask the seller to have the back removed, and send you a picture. Then post that picture here.

Would you say the watch seems authentic? And is it a good deal at just over £500 I’d just like to get a couple of opinions before I purchase as no use in having a fake watch for that price
I am sorry @olinixxx, but I am no expert, I just know how to tell an automatic from a quartz. If it is authentic its a good deal, they usualy go for much moore than £500. Thats the first red flag, a scammer might use the low price to make you buy without thinking and you get a rock or something when the package arrive at your door. Thats not a fun unboxing and it have happened to others.

The next red flag is the battery thing. It might be that the seller, like many others, think all watches need a battery theses days. But that just sayes that the seller dont know what he is doing, not that he is a scammer, buuut as its been said a thousand times on here "buy the seller" and this seller is at best vague.

If you go for it, use somekind of protection, like a creditcard or pay service that gives your money back if you get scammed. Good luck.
