All,

I recently purchased a 1976 Omega Seamaster Automatic 366.0428 1020 cal. and I'm hoping your expert eyes might be able to provide "soft" confirmation of the piece's authenticity?

I'm new to watch game and would appreciate knowing what you vets think!

Thank you very much in advance!

I will post better quality images when the piece arrives, but thought these could be helpful starting place while I wait!

Given the cleanliness of the movement, I’m not sure that I want higher resolution pics !

For the authentification part, no red flags to me, but I know nothing about this particular reference…

It’s real. Needs a service.

How much might I anticipate needing to spend to service this watch would you estimate?

I usually pay between £200 and £250 for a full service plus any replacement parts. That should give at least a 1 year warranty.
If you send to Omega - £350 was the last quote I received plus parts.
Suggest you look around for a qualified watchmaker with experience of high end watches.
