I always thought kangaroos were cute. That first clip changed my mind....look at the bloody claws on that thing! Note to self: don't mess with a kangaroo.
I play it safe and just assume that everything in Australia is trying to kill you, no matter how cute...
They are all cute! Even the spiders down there are fluffy/ furry -- makes you want to give them a big hug
Those claws look like a grizzly bears. Holy shit. We here in the US think they are soooo cute. This changed my mind. Is the roo typically aggressive or is he just seeing his reflection in the glass and getting annoyed?
Damn you got some ugly neighbors. They remind me of the zombies in the Will Smith movie "I Am Legend". Chest bumping the glass...haha
Probably a good idea to have a couple of fire crackers handy... The strong ones should do the trick. .. Reminds me a bit of Florida... I was surprised they had gators lying around like stray dogs on suburban developments in Orlando...
Gators in Orlando is a sore subject right now: http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/sh...-hotel/ar-AAh40fF?li=BBnbfcL&ocid=mailsignout
A bit of both I guess. They have low tolerance when eating (which is whenever they aren't sleeping) and btw never walk up behind them without letting them know you're there. Generally they are okay in their own environment, but they tend to chose fight rather than flight if peeved. I had one as a childhood pet (and in the suburbs as well) in the 60s when it was allowed. Only lashed out at me a few times, but if it decided to stretch out on the sofa there was nobody who had the guts to get it off. It turned out to be a female Red Roo (Macropus rufus) that ended up in the zoo after escaping from the backyard and reeking havoc on the neighbours, the local Post Office manager and a number of street vendors. The best part was that she knocked the toupee off Mr L the local fruit and vegy vendor when he tried to restrain her.
