Yo, I've got a mad hard on for this thing:

omega-seamaster-aqua-terra-150m-22012412103002-l.png
The problem is, due to lockdown I have no way of trying it on. If it was in the 38mm I would probably have bought it already but the 41mm with no bezel I'm feeling may be a bit of a UFO on my wrist. My wrist is 6.5" / 16.5cm so not tiny but definitely on the smaller size and I think my Speedies / Seamasters look alright. As previously mentioned though, all have bezels and my watches without bezels are all vintage in the 34-36mm range. I thought I'd drop some photos of some of my watches in that size range to give an idea and I'm looking for opinions from those who have it (or another dial variation) on how it wears and whether it would overwhelm me.

Apologies for the bad photos, it's 2:15 in the morning and not the best light but it should give an idea at least:

Edited the title. Not sure why I put OP41 in there. Haven't looked at Rolex for ages lol.

I had the 41 AT for a while, it wore about the same as my Speedmaster. Definitely didn’t feel any bigger or UFO like. Hope this helps.

It’s surely all personal preference.

For me, I wear a AT 41mm and have a roughly 7-7.25” wrist. I don’t mind the diameter at all, although I do find it slightly on the thick side.

I did a detailed review of the green AT on this forum, as it might help with your decision making. Check it out!

For a 16.5cm wrist the AT41 is huge imo. But judging from the pics yours is bigger than that.

Personally, I think the 38mm size is more fitting for a watch like the aqua terra. I don't like big dial sizes for non tool watches.

I should have added, my wrist is 7 1/4”. (More flat than round, I guess)

And personally I still consider the AT a tool watch, It is a very dressy tool watch, but if it’s good enough for Bond, it’s good enough to handle anything….only half joking here.

back to OP, my vote is to go for it! Good luck!

Nah, mine is definitely 16.5cm, probably quite flat though. If I use some digital callipers to measure the width, it's 55.3mm wide. I guess that's the problem with quoting wrist size as mine might be different to someone else's.

I'd love it to be in the 38mm but it's the slate blue on rubber that I want. Got plenty of other black / white watches and my SMPc in blue is a similar blue to the one in 38mm. Omega, if you're listening, off the same colour options in different sizes, eh?

I have read all possible forums data, comparing 38 vs 41, before buying. After reading, I was 99% convinced 38 was the proper size for my 7¨. wrist. At the OB trying the two models, I realize 38 was too small, 41 a tad big, get the 41. My rule for AQ´s is that for a 7¨wrist 40 would be perfect, so for a 6.5¨ I feel 38 can do it better.

A little bit more thinking to do but I reckon it might be making it's way into my collection.

That's the 41? Any idea of the actual width of your wrist rather than circumference?

IT IS 6 CENTIMETERS VIEWED FROM THE TOP. BUY THE AQ, 38 OR 41. THE FACT THAT THERE IS NO BEZEL, MAKES LOOKS BIGGER THE WATCH, BUT THE FEELING IS OF A SMALLER ONE. FOR EXAMPLE, THE AQ41 LOOKS MAYBE BIGGER THAN MY PO 42, BUT IT IS ONE MILLONS TIME MORE COMFORTABLE.

38mm for 16,5cm is a better option. And 8800 is a more reliable machine in my opinion, without jumping hours.

Definitely not buying any of the 38s as it doesn’t have the colour.

Caliber 8900 all the way. I really enjoy the jumping hour hand.

Ok sounds like that should work. Less than 5mm wider than my wrist. Cheers.
