AT discounts in or around London?

Hi all,

Wanting to add a Aqua Terra Shades Green to my collection. Initially wanted the Terracotta which I still think is a great watch, but when I saw the green in person I realised that was the one.

Question is, has anyone been successful in securing discounts for any of the AT Shades models around the London area?

Looked for pre-owned but not many out there within the UK.

I don't know about discounts, but I would try the Omega AD in Covent Garden.

The service I receive there is always 10/10.

Boutiques wouldn’t give discount. Maybe a free strap or service.

ADs if one of the big chains, potentially 10% (usually easy enough to get the ‘free gift card offer’ off the price of the watch). End of the month always worth asking, smaller independent ADs can usually accommodate more. Sometimes does depend on the specific model and if a high demand.

Worth looking if any other bricks & mortar UK store has offers on, then they’ll price match.

Thanks for this. Reviews seem good but never heard of this company. Are the watches genuine and legit given the discount offered?

Can't imagine an AD would go below this.
Isn't that only a 5% discount from MSRP?

I see. Much cheaper in the US. Omega site shows $7400. Probably they have kept the price in USD constant as the dollar has weakened.

UK prices do seem to be high compared to elsewhere. Pretty sure there has been a recent price increase too.

UK price includes VAT. US prices do not include sales tax.

Like comparing apples and oranges.

Remember - buying a pre-owned watch from a dealer they have 20% VAT on margin which we have to pay the tax man. Unfortunately, this we cannot escape.

If so, then the gray dealer may not be a bargain, because they are quoting prices without VAT.

No UK price rise for Omega recently. Probably due one. But it’s been one already in the US.

You won’t be paying VAT in these. There based in the channel island I believe. Price quoted is that you’ll pay.

Same price with VAT included or VAT removed. 🤪
