That’s a very light article that really doesn’t get into any details about how COMCO jerked Swatch group around for several years, forcing them to make movements for existing customers who were no longer buying, leaving them holding piles of movements they could not sell to anyone. The whole way this was handled was a shit show really, and didn’t do anything to address the real monopoly....NivaroxFAR...part of Swatch and who make probably 90% of the balance assemblies and escapement used in Swiss watches. They supply Sellita and many others, so very few are really making the complete movement even after all this...
