So what art/artists are people into here? What do you own? Like to own? I don't wan to hear Picasso or Rembrandt (unless you actually own one!) I've got a Leroy Neiman. He wa the official Playboy artist, and a brand ambassador for Universal Geneve. I've got something like this View attachment 17063 But you may recognise him for pieces like these View attachment 17064 View attachment 17065 I've also got a Pro Hart, Marc Chagall and David Boyd. (Pictures on request) I'd dream to own a Sidney Nolan.
What doesn't show well in my snatched pics is the gold leaf she has used. We love the quirky attitude she puts in to her work.
I find myself very attracted to Monet... I reached out to such institutions as the Louvre & Musee d'Orsay about acquiring such pieces, but have yet to hear back from them Until then, I purchased these hand painted recreations.
A lot of small independent artists and one Pro Hart for me. I stand to inherit a David Boyd but not for a while.
Glass artwork for me. A couple of new pieces Recent Gert Bullee 1/1 ( from The Nederlands ) and a Christian Edwards bottle ( from Denmark ) Denizen (from Canberra)

My wife's latest acquisition from Art Basel last year, got delivered last month to our home As if a couple days in Miami during December wasn't cool enough . . .
I'm by no means a connoisseur of art, but I really like Leonid Afremov's work: https://afremov.com/ Pretty affordable too
My avatar hangs in my living room. Next to it I have some nifty agriculture-themed calendar prints from 1700 and 1701, one of which you can see below. I also really like the glass art of Josh Simpson.
I have a couple of paintings by a truly remarkable Danish artist, Richard Winther, whom my parents knew quite well.
