Artem loopless for Omega FOIS. Which stitching color matches best ?

Hello Community,

I'm looking into a sailcloth strap for my FOIS and read good comments about Artem sailcloth loopless.

I just can't decide on the stitchings color. The pictures i could find online are on a Speedmaster Pro and it has white baton hands. The FOIS has metal hands (and smaller white for chronograph).
Therefore i believe grey would be better, but no sure though...

Has anyone purchased this strap for his/her FOIS ?
Can you please share pics ?

Thank you

I have an Artem sailcloth -- bought it for an AT but now using it on a BB58 and others having sold the AT.

It's the blue with white stitching. With the FOIS I'd think either white or grey would work fine. They're excellent straps.

they also make one with black stitching in case you can’t decide between white or gray. 😉

I also have several Artem straps (including the new deployant strap you are considering) and they are excellent. Can’t really go wrong with either of the 3 thread color options — it’s really what you prefer.

Thank you both.

i considered black with black stitching a couple of hours ago to pair it with my SM300Mc.
For the FOIS i might go with grey stitching.
OR, to save EUR 200, i’d buy only one in 20mm to fit both watches : squeezing it in the FOIS and leaving 0.5mm on each side of spring bar for the Seamaster… but i’m a little bit afraid to be disappointed with the result on both watches.

Anyway, did you also bu their Omega-style clasp ? Is it a good device ?

Hey,

Bought and moved on the Omega and RM clasps -- found that nether worked well with my 7"-ish wrist, but YMMV. Others rave about 'em.

The sailcloth is reasonably thick and stiff initially, so not sure how well the 20mm will fit the FOIS, but def worth a shot. I might try it with my FOIS at some point, now that you've planted the idea...

i have the Artem Omega-style clasp, but it was designed for their previous straps, to replace the buckle. Because of this, it is shorter and has more of a curve because it is designed to for half your wrist. I tried it on an Omega strap once — while it works, it curves into the middle of your wrist and isn’t the most comfortable.

as far as I know, they haven’t changed the design. The Artem straps are wonderful with a real Omega deployant, though.
