I am quite fond of the earlier Constellation and Seamaster hour markers, such as these below. I have seen "arrowhead markers" and "kite markers" in english and "Haifischzähne" (shark's teeth) in german. What is the accepted terminology for these markers? Thanks in advance
All three. And sometimes "Double Dagger". The blunter trapezoidal makers are known as "Squirrel Tooth" markers.
Note that these markers are of the "post extraction" style showing both crown and root. The chisel like tooth shape of the of the rodent genus primary incisors is evident in the example shown below.
To those uninitiated in the true (and closely guarded) secret nomenclature of the Brotherhood of the Golden Squirrel, yes. But we () really know different.
Thanks, cicindela. Yes, you are right, there is also the narrow arrowheads, like this: And special thanks to JimInOz for invaluable brotherhood info
I think these are ‘proper’ coffin markers - with enough room to get the deceased’s toes in (Or pinkies in this case )
Coffin markers with hats or what are those Egyptian things with mummy's in , had a few beers and they aren't pyramids
