Yeah i think you did also. I do look for these and sometimes they can be had even cheaper than what you have paid. There just doesn't seem to be much love for them and I don't know why!

I guess it's a bit of an oddity - and doesn't really appeal to most Seamaster 300m customers.

Looking around at similar pieces from the same era - the 2254.50's seem to be abundant, and sell for more money, with total ease.

The condition of this one is near new... so goodness knows where it came from originally.

You're not wrong - but a manic two office days (Monday was a holiday here and Thursday/Friday I'm in Amsterdam) this week is robbing me of time... and next week is our conference!

Will try to get some pictures and maybe a little video up. 😀
You're letting work get in the way of our watch enjoyment? How dare you!
Seriously, that's a cool find

I'm trying not to... But fear of getting up in front of 1000 people and balding things up is keeping me honest. 😉

Thanks chap. 😎

Not a fan of the regatta chrono - find the dial a bit messy...

Oh I hate when that happens. Totally understandable for you to give us more pics (and perhaps some time lapse shots) next week. 😉

Hollow to allow view of the circles...
Ummm.....lizardcookiemonsterdude.......they forgot to lume the second hand. 😝

Well you can't call it an Diver watch then it fails ISO for not having a running indicator in the dark. Sry it's junk. I'll take it off your hands for 200 but you have to pay shipping.

I bought a 2009 Seamaster Pro two years ago, it was pre-owned, but completely unused when I got it*.

1) purchase expensive tool watch.
2) hide away for 4-5 years.
3) sell for a loss.

😕😕

*Had to get the helium refilled, of course. Looks as if that won't be an issue on yours, as it hasn't an escape valve - nice.

See that's what I don't get, what did you wear while a tool watch diver was sitting hidden away...

Like people that want a diver when they have a Rolex sub or GMT

@STANDY my friend. You are dipping your toe in the "common sense thinking" pool. Prepare for a croc to relieve you of that toe! 😀

I'm booked on to an APNEA diving training course in July... Plan to get this thing wet.

Cool looking watch. Odd sport. Seems the chrono would be more "specific" given the importance of breathing. But the thing that would bother me the most is having the guy's name on the case back. Again cool looking watch.
