Anyone own one of these or a similar model?
I have bought this model for a everyday wear.

Have yet to see it in person.

    Good quality pieces?

Armani fashion watch, no real quality to speak of, they tend to be a rung below the average cheap Seiko/Citizen.

Like what you like, it's cool. This might be the wrong forum though. No offense I hope, none intended.

That is most likely a low quality Chinese watch (including the movement). I would avoid it and look for a Seiko/Citizen/Bulova at the same price point.

Most of these brands don't make the watch, they contract it out to some fashion watch mass producer who brand it up to look right and ship it out with a box carrying "offical product" paperwork etc. You're paying for the logo on the dial and the watch is largely incidental, while with Seiko you're buying the watch and the Seiko logo pretty much comes for free.

But if you like it, get it. Not for its value as a watch but because you like it as an accessory.

Be very wary of watches with fashion brand names on them. They're cheap watches that get marked up quite a bit to get the brand's fanboys and fangirls to fork over more cash.

However, there are a few with actual decent (and sometime in-house or proprietary) calibers inside.

I got it for only $70 a small percentage of the $395 retail. I would never spend that much on one lol

I already knew I liked and wanted the watch. With 3 minutes left at auction I was not wasting time to ask questions on the forum when the knowledge is not a necessity and just curiosity anyways.

Did you not understand my last statement? Or read the orginal post?
    Curiosity....what a childish attitude.
Been here 3 days and have already found someone that doesn't maintain a mature attitude...shocked!
AND you have been on this forum a long time...I would hope for more respect

Its perfectly fine to like some watches that aren't popular with collectors, I'm currently rocking my Apple Watch on sport band which would offend far more sensibilities than a fashion watch and at over $1k more, just have to accept that certain things will never be popular with mechanical collectors (which Dennis usually is when he's not buying quartz Reversos ;) )

You'll have to develop some thicker skin, with these guys. :p They usually deal with established watch brands. If a watch has a cheap Chinese movement or is otherwise "soulless", it's not something that interests people who frequent watch forums.

You asked whether the watch you purchased was a quality piece. Importantly, you asked after you had already made the purchase and that confuses the sensibility of a lot of people on this forum.

If you only paid $70 for it and you like it, then all is right with the world. Enjoy it.

Hang around and add to the forum, but don't come on next time and tell us you've just bought an Invicata, the sh*t would really hit the fan then!

    ;)
