The bulbous case and the date feature are off-putting to me but there are others who love watches featuring the styling of that era.

I quite like the dial, but I am unsure about the case

I do like the look of the dial's styling except that I don't personally care for a date feature. This one's date is a bit less intrusive than some.

70s styling is an acquired taste.

    As already noted, not rare.

Acquired.....or perhaps just a matter of taste. I like that styling, but this one seems a little milquetoast-y. Perhaps the lighting/photo.....

I'd wear the gold one. The steel one doesn't excite me.

I find that I am not a fan of stick hands, especially the ones with squared-off tip. Perhaps why I don't like anything Rolex is putting out right now.

Not rare and not that popular...
Bought one, dirt cheap, early in my watchcareer and had a go at the sunburst brushing of the case myself. Also thought that the original hands were too thin for the chunky watch - so I mixed and matched a little myself. Chose a red second hand to match the red indexes. I was not yet schooled in the "original, original, original" way of collecting. Mea culpa - mea maxima culpa.

Still have it as I see no point in selling it - still nothing worth monetary wise and as it is non original it is even less interesting for collectors. I might give it away as a gift to some young relative if anyone of them fancy it.

I love it but I like the 70s styling in general. I think I am in a minority though. Good thing about omega watches, they have something for everyone.

When I think 70's watch styling, this springs to mind
