Since you started the thread, I have always wanted to ask:
Pic above says 1800 users online now with 195 members and 1288 guests plus a mod on duty. Unless my math skills have left me thats 1484 users, so who are the extra 316 to get to 1800? Is this the secret burial ground for the exiled? OFG's? (OF Ghosts) Or maybe this is the super-secret OF Illuminati level I've heard exists though never proven?

Possibly bots?
Correct, if your click on the online now number you can see where people are viewing and it’ll show bots and guests, guests are real people, bots are primarily search engine bots from around the world. The numbers are accurate for 45 minutes, so if someone last did something or viewed a page within the last 45 minutes that will appear there.

The other bit I’ll mention is we used to show the avatars of all members including those without them set, so that grid was much longer and had a lot of blanks. Trev added a requirement for an avatar to be set to appear in that grid about 6 months ago so its smaller now but doesn’t show any blank avatars which is why the number of avatars is a lot smaller than the number of members online.

How long does the site retain these stats? What if a cranky wife sues her OF member husband for divorce because he's always online (according to her). Would the site provide stats (under subpoena) to her shyster lawyer?
