Are the midsize watches now ladies watches?

Depends on the wrist, if you put a 30mm Calatrava on Kyle it'll look just right, if you put a 30mm Calatrava on Superdoc he'll look like he's wearing a button on a string. Similarly if you put a Ploprof on Kyle, it'd probably fall off.

"Real" men or women (and anything inbetween) - do not worry about things like watch size - but are confident in their own choice of watches.

It is all about trends. A "manly" watch was once 30mm. Not long ago they were 45-48mm. Trends...

So... Are you a leader or a follower?

It is also what is good on your wrist. A 36mm watch on my wrist looks wrong i.e date just or seamaster 300m diver james bond, it looks like a kids watch. However a vintage smaller than 36mm looks ok, perhaps the leather strap has something to do with it?

more important than the overall diameter is the diameter of the dial... a 38mm nomos can look awfully large!
