Well that's a strange thread to post, but when I was a little boy in Poland, we all had ponies. My sister had pony, my cousin had pony,. My pony was the pride of Kraków.

Strange topic, but the question you probably have to ask instead is (which will also provide an answer to OP’s question): are small horses ponies?

I’m pretty sure ponies think they are better
That is probably true. I grew up a horse person (not part human part horse) mostly with quarter horses, and when learning to ride, the little kids always started on ponies. Interestingly, ponies are some of the most cantankerous, knot-headed animials I've ever seen, and they were often not cooperative. I think I'd been thrown by three or four ponies by age 5. The good news: it was a short trip to the ground.

Yes that's true small horses ie ponies suffer from the same disease or disorder as some small people and are just mean, ie small mans syndrome.

It's one of life's mysteries but would you rather be described as "He's a donkey" Or "He's built like a donkey"? HEE-HAW!!

And some horses are big when they’re born …

And then they get a lot bigger and aggressive!
