While 1559 included a burn mechanism and over 16K (around $50 million) have been burned, the supply is still increasing so I don't know that we can call it deflationary just yet. Glad to see the price get some upward action as more people realize that it's the king of crypto action. Bullish!

An illustration of the potential of small crypto bets: the AXS tokens I bought for under $0.40 are over $40 now. I only bought $110 worth and just cashed out $6,700 and still have a hundred tokens left.

If ETH keeps pumping, I may be able to treat myself to something nice. I'm thinking a Pelagos is next on my list.

I really liked my Pelagos. It's one of the most toolish tool watches available, and the clasp is arguably the best one available.

Nice! I've been wanting one for awhile now, but we are probably due for a new vehicle this year instead. We shall see how the crypto bull run treats me.

I'm mostly only all ETH, with a couple altcoins, and a little yield pool nonsense for fun. I figure, ETH seems to have the most use cases if crypto really becomes mainstream.

I’m holding out for a GMT-Master2 or a 214270 with lumed numerals, but they keep going up, too.

Hopefully, crypto ends up increasing at a faster pace than the GMT 2!

I completely agree about the ETH usage, and I’m 100% all-in; don’t have any other coins in my wallet. It’s been a fun year so far (besides the deep dive a few months ago 😵‍💫).

KAVA has always been my favourite alt coin, and the last week PSG has been flying.. I only bought into that as I thought it might pump when they buy Messi

I have Etherium mostly. I am buying a fixed amount every month and hoping DCA works in the long run. Bitcoin is too rich for me. Issue is after a certain $ amount invested need to figure out how to secure the coins with a hardware wallet and get my wife familiar with how crypto works 😀

So.... This thread about Bitcoin is now a thread full of ETH hodlers. Bullish. That Pelagos will be mine within the year. 😎

Elon will fart, and Bitcoin will be $20,000 next week. (Or I invest today)

Are you gentleman serious about getting something like a pelagus etc with ethereum? I do think it’s cool to use it as a currency but I know one gentleman who has what would now be a 500,000k computer as was early in crypto and used to use Bitcoin to buy computer towers and what have you. He taped it off in his living room with police tape. I have no clue if it really would be half a million today and it’s not realistic to expect those kinds of gains in the future. It could drop to zero any I minute so I see the attraction of utilizing it I just got HODL built in

Oh, I meant more like: if ETH goes to $10K+, I might relax my investing and treat myself to something nice. Our family is grinding away at a 60%+ savings rate and I've managed to only splurge on one nice watch this year precisely because we're really focused on loading up our retirement accounts.

I hear you though. I do often lament having a watch collection instead of putting all the money into crypto the last 5 years. But, then I'd have nothing to chat about you fine ladies and gentlemen.😁

Oh I have a constant back and forth with myself I’m not passing judgement. I was reading at 8k eth market cap would be that if facebooks. 20k would put it at apples market cap. Don’t quote me on that as I read it two days ago and that’s like an eternity for my smooth brain. Now the gentleman citing the numbers was making the case the world will realize the eth is equal to Facebook in value when they see what it can be used for, of course eth doesn’t have the three billion users Facebook does so I think he was getting a bit a head of himself anyway but it’s interesting hearing from the diehards and the million different predictions floating around. Perhaps the only people he know it’s true value are the whales who control it.
