Are members invested in Bitcoin/crypto?

To greatly simplify it, you would like better regulation and associated enforcement? We can certainly agree there. The penalties for financial crime for both individual and corporates are for most part a joke. Then again, so are many criminal charges, automobiles come to mind.

I like the concept of cryptocurrencies, I appreciate the technology behind them as well. What I'm not a fan of is the current state of them.
Agree completely up to your last sentence. I find the current state of crypto fascinating and wonderful, full of riveting stories whose next installment I eagerly await.

How will HydraDX’s incentivized testnet roll out?
What’s the future for Gala Games node system?
How many projects will migrate to Polygon?
Polkadot/Kusama rollout and parachain auctions... the future is being determined in front of our eyes, and we’ll all be transacting across blockchains whether we like it or not. Possibly exclusively.

I'm really stunned by the resilience of Bitcoin. Even after the sanctions by the US against Russian bitcoin wallets it seems to resist the sudden huge drop. Not a very big fan of buying bitcoin and holding it for a long time. The volatility is a killer, and you never know when the next big drop will happen. My best example was a few years ago when it reaches 20 KN in a few months dropped all the way back to 5K. I had a good friend that bought at 20 K and she was devastated thinking that she lost her money. At that time I just advised her to wait for the price to bounce back which she did and she's glad now. Nevertheless, I only scalp trade bitcoin with bitscalp.io and I'm much safer and stress-free than having to experience the crazy ups and downs.

Available supply is shrinking as buyers move their coin into cold storage while demand remains.

Ethereum is at a new high and rising.

MATIC is addressing high ETH gas and the price is reflecting the demand for it.

Injective Protocol is taking defi to layer two (with backing from Mark Cuban) and the price is taking off.

Weird Pokémon type game Axie Infinity’s AXS token is on fire.

Big money and retail buyers have discovered the broader altcoin market. On the other hand, it’s all a scam and it’s bad for the environment. lol. Best of luck.

I staked some eth. It’s actually paying 7.8%. Not compounding. I think it’s a good move as you assist in helping the network improve and the all I do is sit on it anyway. I tried buying a watch with it but screwed something up and the fees would have killed me. Eth has some very interesting possibilities. There are risks involved in staking, one being you might lose your stack and that rate can drop if too much is staked but it’s all good. I didn’t enter crypto back in the day for financial reasons I liked the idea, the tech and the possibilities. MakerDAO is another very interesting project I’m trying to read more about it see if I want to get in on it but it’s goes up 20% every time I read a sentence.

The only crypto I hold is ETH. I don't have the highest/largest stack, but it's the one I most believe in with so many capabilities and uses. I have .5 staked as of right now with Coinbase, who state that ETH2.0 can be traded later this year.

This should be an interesting weekend though... Hoping for a climb out of the ~$2,000 range.

Cool man don’t worry about the size of your holdings. You got a piece of history. Not saying it’s a guarantee I’ve been holding for years and I’ve experienced 60% drops in the blink of an eye. This is one of the most volatile assets you can have but at least your in it’s a fun ride. Cool you could stake .5 I didn’t know what the minimum was

How long did it take before you were able to stake? I'm on the waitlist.

I finally opened a coinbase account last week. Sadly, all my Ether is trapped on RH, so can't transfer it directly, but I'm planning to buy more and stake on coinbase in the future.

Gotcha, gotta say it came up quick for me at Coinbase. I think it was about a month. Now Coinbase only pays 6% but they guarantee it, I mean guarantee your eth that is. But I was on Reddit and I saw people complaining they have been waiting longer than a month. So I don’t know if it was luck or I jumped on it early. I know it’s a no no leaving stuff on the exchange but tbh I’ve moved it from Coinbase to trezor and stakenet I am not real comfortable throwing this stuff around but the more you do it the more comfortable you get, at least that what they tell me.

I think the wait time was roughly two to three weeks? I apologize, but I don’t fully remember to be honest. No minimum to stake either, so that’s nice! Although coinbase does say there might be a maximum amount down the road... which I’m thinking after the burn in July? Who knows, but I’m all aboard the ETH train.

Cool! Thanks for the info. I don't have a huge crypto allocation, but it seems like I might as well have my ETH earn some extra interest.

After a week of BTC volatility, and losses everywhere Im hoping for some nice green candles this week.
Nice big pump from Matic this morning, was a welcome start to the week.

I’m tempted to delete both Coinbase and Coinbase Pro, and just wait until after the EIP 1559 upgrade in July to reopen it. If ETH crashes (which I highly doubt will happen), I’m in it for the long haul. If it moons 2x, (which I think is also extremely unlikely), then it’ll be a nice surprise. Either way, I know I have to stop checking the chart every 10 minutes... 🤨

ETH gas fees have dropped dramatically and have stayed down for a couple days. Something about a new kind of bot that made an old kind of gas-increasing bot unprofitable.

Great to see MATIC and a few others pop. Sad to see people getting shaken out of their positions by manipulators, but that’s what they get for not knowing who the sucker at the table is.

HODL’ing a couple of coins. Just had enough people in my life talking about it so purchased some close to the lows last year.
