·I've been collecting for over 3 years, but just started to get into Omega constellations. Currently on a C-case daydate! I am a huge fan of the constellation pie pan and early constellations with arrowhead markers. I've recently bought a stainless steel 2852 (with a clover crown 😲) and a gold capped 2782. Very fortunate to have come across them.
Both with wrong crowns sadly. I've done some research, read Desmond's articles too but still need help on finding the right crowns. I know there are aftermarket crowns for them just not quite sure which ones are correct. I notice there is a difference in thickness ranging from 2.9mm to 3mm to 3.2mm. Does thickness really matter in this case? In general the crowns are 5mm in diameter and 2.5mm tube. I've concluded that the 069ST42019 is the right crown for early constellations... correct me if I'm wrong 🤔. Would love to get pointed in the right direction and get them on the wrist ASAP. Thanks!
