AR coating?

Hi. I have been wearing my (new to me) in excellent condition Aqua Terra 23110396102001 39mm quartz that I bought from a dealer who specialises in excellent condition pre-owned watches.

As I was driving tonight around 8pm when it was quite dull, I could see some blotches on the watch glass. When I stopped the car in the car park, I wiped the crystal with my finger. Didn’t have any effect. But it was quite bad. I came home and looked under the light and couldn’t see it. I took it to the bathroom which is very bright and couldn’t see it. I took it to the window as it was getting dark and I could immediately see it. Tried wiping with a damp watch cloth and no effect. So I got out a loupe. I could not see anything under the lights so went to the window again. Clear as anything. I think the ant-reflective coating has come off - presumably on top(?), unless someone has tried to refurbish the watch and tried to polish the crystal inside. There are some fine scratches around 8 o’clock too (definitely not from me - I never scratch a crystal - and the nature of the scratches makes me thing someone has tried to buff this at some point. However under the loupe I can also see a black speck of dust on the dial so maybe someone has tried to buff the inside, although I have no idea why anyone would do that.

Should I (a) insist it is fixed (could take weeks if sent to Omega), (b) get a refund, (c) ask for a further discount, (d) put up and shut up or (e) some other option? I really love the design and the quartz grab and go nature is just great.

Thanks
Glenn
