This Aquastar Deepstar just went for £1,100 or let’s call it £1,430 all in w/fees.

Is it me or did someone get a great deal? Even with a comprehensive service. More of a niche following than most desirable chronographs of its time but I can’t remember even seeing this offered below 4/5k.

Man. Below $4-5k? I haven’t seen a decent Deepstar for below $8-9k for awhile . . .

@vujen it was a small regional auction house in the UK.

@Mark020 I know I am the same, I thought there was no point in bidding as it would go for near to market - I didn’t think it would go for a third of market!!

Estimate was 2-3k if I recall correctly? And in UK auctions can do end prices below lower estimate (which does not happen in the USA(?))
