It's a little too busy for my taste. If it didn't have the map of the world in it I think it would be a little more attractive (to me)

I had one of these for the past year.

I wore it non-stop the first few months I had it but then as the a seasons changed and I began going out and about more I realized I couldn't get a perfect fit on the bracelet due to lack of micro-adjust. Picked up the rubber strap and ended up being in between holes on the strap as well which was unfortunate.

Ended up just selling it recently and have an order in for the new Zenith to mix things up.

I loved it from the first sight when Omega showed their first renders & clips. Then I hesitated to get it and was looking for an excuse - too big, too busy, too expensive. But it was at the back of my head all the time and finally... landed on my wrist yesterday. I can describe my joy and beauty of this piece. And it is not as big as the specification would suggest.

Here below short video with a wristroll in sunshine, both on bracelet & rubber. I bought the bracelet version and added the strap same day - frankly the bracelet will probably sleep in the box forever.

I think the missing minute markings between the minute indices would be a nice feature to still have though I guess that would have made the dial even busier. 馃榾

haha I just noticed there's no minute markings on this. As much as I love this watch, something about the dial balance has always just felt 'off' to me but I still can't put a finger on it.

I don鈥檛 mind the lack of minute markings. This watch is meant to tell you the time down to the hour night or day across the globe. It doesn鈥檛 matter if it鈥檚 5:23 or 5:24.

little non standard light angle gives quite a nice light blue hue

To be honest I have noticed it after leaving the AD with the new WT on my wrist 馃榾

But it does not bother me at all and I agree that the watch would be way too busy with minute markings (it's busy anyway now).

Hello all. Was just wondering what everyone thinks of the Aqua Terra Worldtimer? I have been using it for a few months and love it. Would like to hear from owners and non-owners.
I think it鈥檚 a true rival to the Rolex Sky-Dweller. What do you think?

I think the only similarities are that they are large travel watches. I have the skydweller and tried on the worldtimer yesterday. They have a similar feel and wrist presence.

The skydweller is a more complicated watch with its annual calendar and it鈥檚 smart bezel design. All functions are accessed through the turn of the bezel and set through a single pull of the crown. It鈥檚 an amazing piece of engineering.

That said, the worldtimer is gorgeous. From the detail of the laser etched map to the details on the dial, just a lot to enjoy. The time setting is more inline with a GMT with a jumping hour hand. Usually I give Omega a bump on movement design with is coaxial escapement compared to Rolex but this time I鈥檇 say they are comparable. I will say that I enjoy the open case back on the worldtimer.

I鈥檓 seriously considering picking up the worldtimer. It made quite the impression on me.

Wow, this is stunning. I have not seen a physical piece at my local OB.
