Hello all. Was just wondering what everyone thinks of the Aqua Terra Worldtimer? I have been using it for a few months and love it. Would like to hear from owners and non-owners.
I think it’s a true rival to the Rolex Sky-Dweller. What do you think?

The Omega is a world timer. Meaning you can see the time in any time zone at a glance, and it is a very beautiful watch. The Skydweller is a two time zone watch and annual calendar watch which requires resetting the date only in a leap year. Both are very nice watches but they may appeal to different niches of the watch world.

I haven't seen it in person but drool over it from afar. It's beautiful and I would get it as the ultimate GMT-type watch. The 150m WR is great for a watch with it's functions.

I've been wanting one of these since they were first introduced, and I've talked with my sales associate at the boutique several times about it. My savings are almost there, but our son just chose his college yesterday and he's going out of state. So much for that ... timing is everything, as they say.

Yeah I agree they are not identical. But in terms of both being travel watches, both having screw-down crowns, and both being similar dimensions, I think they can be compared somewhat.

I am not an owner of the Aqua Terra Worldtimer but of the time-only Aqua Terra which I think is a wonderful watch. The Worldtimer is an absolute stunning execution and great addition to the collection. I have loved the previous one which came limited (like really limited) and with a heavy price tag because of the precious metal. The steel one is great and it wears surprisingly well for that size just as many Omega watches tend to do. It would be a strong contender for a watch you can wear daily but with a strong focus on traveling. I would chose it over any Sky Dweller.

A stunning watch, but I don’t see the comparison to a Sky-Dweller. Someone is going to have to educate me on that one.

I accept they are not identical, but they do have similarities: Both are travel watches, both have screw-down crowns, a GMT dimension, and both have similar dimensions.

Therefore, I think they can be compared somewhat.

It’s a very cool watch, I’ve never seen one in person and always thought they were in the super expensive category or maybe that’s just a precious metal version of it? The map of the world in the middle looks amazing and its definitely a useful complication to have.

I really like it, and I can get the comparison to the sky D in some aspects - size and gmt type complications.

I do much prefer it on the rubber compared to the bracelet aesthetically

not too many of these about. Some wrist shots in different lights would be great.

I love mine! It does not wear big on the wrist at all. I prefer 42mm and smaller, but I loved the WT so much I had to purchase it. The lume is amazing, and the texture and colours on the globe are spectacular! This is a photo taken yesterday!

I've had mine for about a month and love it! It's the only non-Speedmaster Omega that I own.
