Would this watch look out of place in a tuxedo? Im looking for something versatile that can be worn everyday, at the nightclub, or a wedding, and not look out of place, especially since I wear other jewelry as well.

I think that’s exactly what the AT watches are all about. It’s perfect for someone that wants one watch, because it works in every situation, especially on the bracelet in my opinion. Maybe not all dial colors are as versatile, but I would rock yours in all the situations you mention no problem.

I love ATs. Don’t have one, but really want one. But if I get one I’ll need to change my username!

Do you recomend buying from a boutique or dealer? Some have told me that boutiques dont negotiate MSRP but others do. Apart from negotiating price, is a free strap unusual to ask? Just wondering, for other brands negotiating is common.

If a dealer will give you a better price for the same watch...

Unless you have a relationship/commitment to a certain boutique (you just like dealing with them), dealer seems the way to go if price is a focus.

You can negotiate at an OB....I got a pretty sizeable discount on my DSOTM at an OB (helps that I’m in a big city, so lots of competition from ADs). Just ask wherever you go and see what you can get. I also got a large discount on my Blancpain at a Blancpain boutique (one of only two in the USA) as well as a free second strap (strap would have been $330 retail).

Still, chances are that you will do better at AD rather than OB, but you never know.

At a black-tie wedding or a pub with your mates: the Aqua Terra fits right in.

For me the most versatile of all my watches. Wore it at my daughter's wedding on leather and casually on steel.

My AT is the most versatile watch I own. Put it on a leather strap for formal wear, like a tux, and you'll be perfect.

Took me months to decide on the Skyfall AT and it's a keeper. I'm definitely 100% biased but I much prefer the older versions with vertical striping vs the current line with horizontal striping.

I’ve had mine for a number a years now and worn it with a tux, a suit to weddings or with jeans to the pub.

Definitely get in on a bracelet and get some different straps which can dress it up or down.

The teake version looks great on a tan leather strap

I LOVE the Aqua Terra line!! Taste is so subjective but I think there are definitely some that are better all-rounders than others.

Can be worn when you're dressed up for any occasion, as well as with a t-shirt and shorts! Looks great on your wrist!
