Aqua Terra Skyfall hit by sun rays

A few weeks ago I started a thread searching for a Aqua Terra Skyfall in WTB. A very, very few offer(s) hit the thread.

Eager for this watch I asked an AD to order it. It worked out very well. Ash asked me to start a thread, here we are.

As I know that a picture expresses more than words, specially in a foreign language I took some pictures in my extraordinary light room, on the piazza of my home with the last rays of winters sun.

Enjoy.

You will never get tired of gazing intently at that dial. This may very well be the best blue dial watch ever made. Okay, maybe a stretch because the Gemini IV will give it a run, but aside from that my money is on the Skyfall.

Problem with this board, browsing through all the posts I see way too many cool watches. One way to help, for me at least was to stay only with Omega watches. At times I get pulled by those awesome El Primeros, and some of the vintage Longines, but I stay the course and only look at Omega.

While not a perfect solution, it helps. 馃榾

I too would like to add a vintage Longines or Omega to the fold, but finding one that's 1) Real, and 2) sized above 38mm (anything smaller, even watches that wear big, just gets engulfed by my wrist and hand size) is near impossible. But here's hoping that some of the modern Zenith reissues will hit some hard depreciation in the years to come, since I think their designs have taken a turn for the better.

Eventually, some sanity creeps into this hobby.

...... but only after you've bought just about every watch you REALLY wanted, and all the ones left are way too expensive to purchase within a few months' span.

@OmegaRookie

You need a Skyfall to round out your collection.

It is a great mate for a PO and Speedy.

Taddy, you can piss off......stop planting seeds....馃槈馃榿

.......but they are really nice......

Yep. Sanity finally kicked in when I was down to one functioning kidney and one cornea and my surgeon refused to harvest any more organs from me ...

One or two more speedys would work too.
