Aqua Terra redoux, what would you do?

Last December, I bought a 38.5 Aqua Terra with a sllver dial and gold markers, stainless on alligator strap. It now appears mine is the pre basal 2014 Version, without the master coaxial movement but with the bracketed date window.

It came from an AD, who now advises it will exchange the newer version, with no date bracket and with the master coaxial movement, and it will be an even exchange despite the $400 price increase.

    I'm looking for free advice!

What would you do, and why?

    Thanks

Sounds weird to me unless what you have has become more valuable for being pre coaxial. I would keep wjat you have...now if he offered the MASTER coaxial AT then I would take that.

Hm, mine is an 8500 coaxial, likely late 2013, and I'm now offered the Master coaxial since I asked why I wasn't offered that originally.

    Clear?

Sum: I complained and got offered the newer version.

    Sorry, I misunderstood.

take the master coaxial. it's one of the best movements around and will become a standard. Incidentally, that's what I'm wearing on the Avatar.

Depends on how important the date is to you.

For me, if It's going to be my daily wearer, no date is a no-go.

Ah...I thought he meant the change in the window of the date from framed to now framed. Too much whiskey me thinks....

Take the Master Co-Axial. Date is still there but just no window.

Pretty sure the OP means that the offered version is the new one, which hasn't got the framed date window... I would probably exchange it, mainly because of the, I guess, better residuals.

That's a good choice. I think the AT has one of the best designs out there these days. Modern but with a classic feel. Sporty but extremely elegant and flexible. The master movement is also nice to have as it will become a new Omega Standard.

I have the same dillemma right now...and the date frame and the brushed links I think are pushing me to the older version...

I actually prefer the no date frame dial. As for the links I had my doubts but I need up loving them...takes 10 minutes to brush them or have a jeweler brush them though If you want them uniform. Worth the effort for a far superior watch IMO

he may just be busy with something..or he may have realized there is a difference on his cost. who knows. Give him a little time to come around.

I would keep what you have. I do not like the PCLs and I do like the date window. Good luck with your choice.

Well, they were Johnny at the rathole until I accepted early yesterday. Now, three e mail requests later, nothing.

I'm starting to feel ignored and deceived.
