    Hell all,

I would like some advice please.

Is the Aqua Terra Quartz 36.2mm (2518.30.00) the same as the Railmaster 36.2mm (2504.50) automatic . So the only difference is the see through case back? So in other words, would a railmaster movement fit into a quartz case?

    Many thanks,

    Nicki

You might consider posting this and your other post in the Modern Omega board.

...the end game is that i want to get rid of my see-through back and put a solid case back.

They are different cases, and since the quartz movement is thinner than the auto, I doubt you could swap entire cases.

However if all you really want to do is swap case backs, then it might be possible. The only way to know for sure is to try it, but looking at the case backs seals they are the same dimensions for both watches, so that indicates there are some similarities. If you wanted to start hunting for a case back the part number is 112ST1599.

    Cheers, Al

Yes. Please note that I am not saying it will work, only that there's a chance.
