    Hello all,

I have a long story with Aqua Terra's and especially with three of these : Blue AT cal. 8500 - 41,5, Black AT cal. 8900 41 and Railmaster 39 (the only one i still own today).

Both 41 and 41,5 are too large for what i like to wear in my actual standards of 4 years collecting watches.
BUT i really like cal. 8500 or 8900 and i'm actually hesitating between the blue one, 38mm, cal.8800 rubber strap or steel.

Problem is that pictures of these two are relatively rare on internet, especially owner's pictures (i've already seen Hodinkee's three on three or some instagram pics) and i'm asking you if you guys are owning one of these ?

Wrist is 7". TY in advance !

I'm just looking for pictures of the new blue AT 38mm, to compare the different shades of blue and take a closer look on the rubber strap. I'm just not sure about how it looks "in flesh"

If you want in the flesh then I'd suggest going to an AD or OB and trying it on for yourself. That will remove all doubt. Or if pics are your jam just Google 220.12.38.20.03.001 and go thru the images, but you cant tell what size wrists the people in the pics are.

AT blue 38mm is not available on my AD,i already googled it and pictures are rare.
I would like to buy it online.
Just asking if someone here owns this particular model, steel or rubber.

I've owned the 42mm version years ago. I've tried on the 38mm version at a local Jared's, and it seemed absolutely perfectly sized for my 7 inch wrist. I'm sure I'll eventually buy one.

Yea you gotta go in person. I would not trust pictures.

I know it’s a different comparison but I feel my 42mm AT wears smaller than my Sub C. Even though 2mm smaller the Sub is more bulk and feels different.

    Your Railmaster: What a beauty!

I only own the blue 38 mm AT. Fits much better on my 6.75 inch wrist than the larger version:

BTW, my first post at Omega Forums!

I have the opaline teak dial and am now driven to check the size, just for my own satisfaction, and it's 41.5 inches. (CORRECTION: 41.5 mm - I couldn't get the cufflinks to match in inches hahahaha) I love it. I don't want to wear it every day, I want special occasions to happen. 20190411_193750.jpg

Think the new 38 MM AT will work for you; you can also try the previous generation 38.5 MM size as well, which with the blue dial just as the one you owned in 41.5 MM (Skyfall) looks amazing

    My RM says hi!

Unfortunately i cant see your pictures ?

Nice opaline dial, tikkathree ! Very classy.

fskywalker : i think that 38mm 2017 version will be my next one mostly because of the (small) thickness decrease but i'm a little bit afraid of the new blue compared to the 8500 one. Will see ! (And post some pictures obv)

Very Nice one ;) The blue seems to be more quiet on natural light compare to the older one ? Do you have some others ? :D

    Hi,

Finally took the new one, cal. 8800 and 38mm, bracelet (soon brushed) :

    40913527663_09aeabc8dd_o.jpg 32925483797_9308b6247a_o.jpg 32930121617_3eda6bb1a0_o.jpg

Really like the size, not too small at all, thanks to the dial opening. Thickness is a hair over 12, according to my calliper and proportions are good for me.

The dial is very special, like the 8500 but in a different way : teak is more expressive but the blue color still has many different shades, from dark to electric blue.

8800 seems accurate for the moment ;)

Looks so fine that AT on you, enjoy!

Thinking on that model for a year with doubts, of it would it be too small. I have 7´´ wrist too.

I have been reading on the forums what could it be better the 41 or the 38 for a 7´´, your post is very helpful.

Do you know the face diameter? I foresee it could be close to the one of my PO 42MM.
