I've searched but I haven't found exactly what I'm looking for. I'm getting a new watch soon and I'm in love with the Aqua Terra! I'm going to be buying new and I'm looking at a 38.5mm with the 8500 movement. Apart from the anti magnetic properties, changes to the dial, and PCLs, are there any other differences between the Co-axial and the Master Co-axial Aqua Terras?

Sorry I am not good at watch acronyms. here are my visual findings: The unframed date window which some do not prefer.. The second hand is a different color on some models. And of course it says master co axial on the front and marked on the back.

Also my master coaxial is 41.5mm. I'm sorry but I don't know if it comes smaller on master c movement. I suppose it should?

I think the biggest difference is something you appear to brush over - the anti-magnetic properties. That's somewhat of a game changer in the watch game.

With regards to other tweaks to the way the watch looks, they now come with the 2-toned (brushed on outside, polished middle) bracelet rather than all brushed version that the original 8500 AT came with.

Thanks! Yall have confirmed everything that I thought. Stylistically I prefer the original 8500, but I also see the value of the anti-magnetic properties of the master. I'll probably end up with an original 8500 though (unless I go with a PO at the last minute) because while I can appreciate the significance of the anti-magnetic properties, it isn't that big of a deal to me.

Not always a bracelet, model dependent, my own actually came with the leather deployment as standard and very comfortable it is.

Welcome to the message board. I have the Skyfall Co-Axial, and it is a very nice watch, but you will be torn between the AT and the PO. I think if you often wear a dress shirt then the AT might work well, if you are casual business then the PO. And to be honest, if you stay on this board (say 25 posts) you will very well want to buy the AT, the Speedy, the PO, the SM300, a Speedy LE, etc., you get the idea.

Thanks for the warm welcome. I went and tried on an AT and a PO yesterday and I fell in love with both. Sadly I small wrist and the 42mm PO is too large for me and they don't make a 38.5mm PO with the orange bezel, so I will be going with a AT. I am already obsessed with all of Omegas lines and plan on selling my Sub eventually to get more Omegas ;)

You're gonna dig the AT. I haven't reset mine since the end of November (I sometimes hack when I advance the date at the end of the 30 day months) and my Skyfall 38.5 AT is only off by 2.5 seconds.

    You are exactly right. Sigh....

I joined this board to find my grail watch, an AT, white dial with blue hands. I also have a 60's Seamaster. Now I'm on the hunt for a FOIS and a couple of others. This board is a drug and all you people with those stunning watches are not helping me.

Taddy is right... All this thread asks is which one comes first ;)
