Aqua Terra bracelet problem

I have a 41mm green dial AT, purchased new in April from OB.

Since earlier today there is an issue with the bracelet fastening. Basically the second part of the clasp won't fasten onto the stud / bolt, without a lot of playing around. No previous issues and watch hasn't been subject to trauma or any damage. As can hopefully be seen in the picture there seems to be a very small screw in the hole. I've never noticed it before but never previously had reason to look. Anyone know what might be going on and whether I might resolve it at home without having to take it back to the OB?

looks more like spring than screw. it's under warranty, ask OB to fix it.

I just popped my watch off (AT 41 in green also). It doesn't look like that, rather like this photo.

I called and spoke to the local OB. Apparently I can't just send the bracelet in, they would need to send the entire watch back to Omega because the watch has the SN. Seems unnecessary when they can presumably check the SN when I bring it to the shop and I also understood from recent threads here that when you purchase from an OB now they record all the info on their system so the warranty card doesn't need to be stamped.

From your picture there appears to be a spring where it shouldn't be. You'll have to do whatever Omega say unless you want the needless extra expense of using someone else. Might be a very easy fix but I wouldn't do it myself and wouldn't trust a faulty clasp.

as others have said, there is something clearly wrong with your clasp - a part that should be there isn’t anymore. Apparently, it is Omega policy to return the entire watch for service even if it is just a bracelet issue. There has been an issue with Seamaster Pro clasps, and all have had to return the entire watch.

unless you want to write-off the bracelet and wear the watch on a strap only, your best recourse is to send it back for a warranty repair.
