Or are you suggesting that some AD's are so stupid that they wouldn't be able to tell the difference between the genuine article and a fake?

As opposed to not noticing an LE lacked its LE engraving? After 5 years on the shelves? Not until after completing sale? 🤔 Doesn't seem impossible to me

And c'mon, Dennis - you're right here going blow-for-blow on the last word bout... don't act so innocent

Wow, just been skimming this thread which has its fair share of bile and/or vitriol. I was going to ask if the OP had just asked Omega themselves what the situation was, but it appears that this has been done and a solution achieved 👍. Beautiful watch by the way.

This article on language makes interesting reading, especially the entries about the use of ‘mate’ and ‘pal’:

Even the fakes of this model would have the limited edition number engraved on the caseback. So this is an odd one. Looks to be genuine though. But just odd without the numbers engraved at the back. Definitely the first of its kind.

I have to say, I totally pegged this wrong. I was sure we were looking at a fake. Nice one OP - well done.

What do you recon? Take it in and have the numbers added or leave blank as a 1 off?

I think its been answered... if you try to sell it later you will have an issue with the missing numbers and it will be questioned with no way to prove it left the factory like that, and or if it is real. The missing numbers do not add any value to the piece. If you want to keep it for you then go for it.
