These dials use rivets to affix the indices. These are the two pins placed on the ends of your dial. Sometimes, these indices can be knocked off by a hard, well-placed shock. You might want to contact an Omega service center to get the watch serviced.

There's no glue - these are held in by pins that extend through the dial, which are ground off on the back side:

You can see all around the dial small patches where these feet have been ground off - when this is done it creates a burr on the feet that keeps the markers in place.

Yours is certainly not the first marker to ever come off, so this is an easy fix, and if the watch is under warranty ti should be covered unless there is evidence of an impact.

Cheers, Al

LOL and on WUS there is an entire thread of people damning Omega for gluing them. Oh ignorance is a bliss.
Thanks @Archer for clafrifying.

Does this mean there are metal rivet particles from the underside now getting into the movement?

that’s what I would be afraid of and why it should be sent back. Hope it’s under warranty.

I think the rivets they use were probably too cheesy I like to make sure every thing on very secure I can send you a few of these no charge

Thanks Archer for the info. Fortunately where I bought it from has a 90 day warranty return policy, so I’m sending it back for a refund and cutting my losses.

Never trouble trouble until trouble troubles you. Relax and stop worrying.

Would think that the grinding of the backside of the pins would take place long before the watch was assembled. Hence it is not likely that there are particles in the watch mechanizum

I think markers falling off or becoming loose outside of a very hard impact would be quite rare. You see it on forums but even then it's very rare. Wouldn't worry about it and simply enjoy.
