Hi folks, Does anyone know if the Uncleseiko 19mm bracelet originally made for FOIS Speedy would fit the new 2021 AT 38mm (19mm lugs)?
I suppose you could email uncle Seiko himself , if you haven't done so already https://www.uncleseiko.com/pages/contact-us I'd be interested in the answer myself
Hi – I’m new to the forum but hopefully this helps a bit: I just bought the 19mm US 1171 bracelet for my prior generation Aqua Terra 38.5 (231.13.39.21.03.001) and can confirm that with a bit of tweaking of the hollow end links, yes it does fit – at least on that model. The bracelet itself is more in the “lightweight flexible style” than the “heavyweight, highly engineered” style, but I actually like that. It looks and feels great, and even better when I think how much more the OEM bracelet would have cost! I’ll probably try and tweak the end links a bit further over the next few days to perfect the match to the case outline. (The inner radius of the end links seems ever-so-slightly larger than the radius of the AT case, but we’re talking fractions of a millimetre over the width of the bracelet). I know that’s no guarantee for a fit to the current generation AT, but with hollow end links a good amount of adjustment is possible, so I reckon your chances are good, even if the spring-bar hole locations have moved slightly. (I didn’t go for the US 1450 “President” bracelet with the solid end links, as there’s presumably no room for even minor tweaking). Overall, I’m very happy with the US 1171: I’m sure the Omega bracelet would have been an “even more” perfect fit, but the Uncle Seiko is very acceptable, to my eyes anyway, at a fraction of the cost.
I love my new AT, but it is one shiny mofo on the stock bracelet. So I installed my Uncle Seiko 1171 using the OEM Omega end links from the stock bracelet. It worked great!
Curious if anyone know if the new rubber strap for the Aqua Terra fits on that prior generation watch? Thank you.
