Hi folks,
looking to make my first luxury watch purchase and being cursed with small wrists I have taken a shine to the Aqua Terra 36mm. I know they are discontinued by omega so I just wondered if anyone knew of where one might crop up? I'm looking for one with the automatic movement.

thanks
Steve

They aren't that common but do pop up now and then. You can set up a search on Watchrecon, or better still contact Kringkily and see if he can find one for you

IMO buy a 39.2mm, I have a six inch wrist, I'd be surprised if yours is smaller. the 2500 AT fits great and so does the 1120 SMP even. I think the smaller one is too small, just my personal preference though.

The AT looks great there. Do you have anymore shots of it?

Steve- here are some pics of my aqua terra's, both 39.2mm, my personal opinion is that the size is perfect for a small wrist.. I've never encountered a man's wrist smaller than mine and I can't imagine wearing the reduced size. SOME PEOPLE LIKE IT, but I and many others think it's a little odd. Maybe you are unaware but these also come in 42mm. The 39 is the mainstream small.

Enjoy

i have tons more if you are interested

NO IDEA WHY THE ROLEX IS IN THERE, ignore that, its not even my wrist it's my friend's and it won't let me delete it

The Aqua Terra, the first and last watch you ever need to buy

Unless you get one that has a caliber 2500 that decides to stop all of a sudden. 😜

Yes the 2500 is slimmer than the 8500.. Here is an 8500 on my wrist:

I want to say those are two different sizes but I couldn't tell you what they were. I like the size of the 2500 much better. There is rumors about it stopping but I wouldn't worry about it - the 2500 is a great movement that is decorated quite nicely.

Someone mentioned 39.2 mm doesn't look too big on the smaller wrist but what about Railmaster 39mm? (comparisons wise?) I tried on 39mm Railmaster over 7.25 wrist and it was huge IMO..

I'm going to go against the grain here and say that, if your wrist is small, get the 36mm. I have a 7" wrist, and I find my 39.2mm AT 2500 to be just small enough, but, if my wrist was any smaller, I'd get the 36mm.

I recently got the 36mm and love the size. I have a 6.5" wrist and the 39mm size would be too big for me, the 36mm fits very nicely. I got mine from eLady, it looks like they still have 2 available. I used a 5% coupon as well, I'm not sure if it's still valid, but it might be worth looking into.
