Highlights of the auction from the view of myself...

    Lot 126, Omega Ploprof 166.0077:

    http://catalog.antiquorum.com/catalog.html?action=load&lotid=126&auctionid=271

The Ploprof went for $7,125, comfortably exeeding its estimate range, Ploprof prices had come off a little in the last couple of years but a clean example does still command solid money.

    Lot 142, Seamaster 2627:

    http://catalog.antiquorum.com/catalog.html?action=load&lotid=142&auctionid=271

This Seamaster managed to prove the old adage about a fool and his money, a common reference in steel with condition commonly exceeded by eBay finds, this piece somehow managed to go for $2,125. If anyone knows the buyer of this item, please send him my way for future purchases.

Lot 146, Omega Constellation 14389 Hooded Case 18K Gold:

    http://catalog.antiquorum.com/catalog.html?action=load&lotid=146&auctionid=271

Selling for a mere $1,125, WELL below the estimate of $1,500-2,500 USD, this piece is a perfect example of why condition is everything, its repainted dial, and extremely heavily polishing creating a perfect storm of mediocrity enough to turn off any potential bidder.

Lot 147, Omega Constellation Grand Luxe 18K Rose Gold Ref 14365:

    http://catalog.antiquorum.com/catalog.html?action=load&lotid=147&auctionid=271

This item was discussed quite a bit on this site, with Mike visiting it in person and examining it himself, at present we don't know who purchased the watch for $13,750 but if you do, or are him, please let us know! While the condition is slightly polished the beauty of these pieces is hard to question and demand is only increasing, I hope the owner thoroughly enjoys his purchase!

Lot 149, Omega Constellation Deluxe 18K Yellow Gold Ref 2699:

    http://catalog.antiquorum.com/catalog.html?action=load&lotid=149&auctionid=271

This Constellation received high praise from Mike when viewed in person and certainly received the same from bidders, reaching $9,375, exceeding its upper estimate. Featuring an uncommon bracelet design and coming with an original box, the condition of this piece was its most impressive asset.

Lot 153, Omega Seamaster "Albatross" Quartz Chrono Ref 196.0052:

    http://catalog.antiquorum.com/catalog.html?action=load&lotid=153&auctionid=271

Yes, its Quartz, yes its an LCD display watch, but this piece reached $2,500 + premium and exceeded its upper estimate proving demand for these oddball quartz pieces is surprisingly strong.

Lot 287, Omega Central Tourbillon No. 48 18K Rose Gold Ref 51333:

    http://catalog.antiquorum.com/catalog.html?action=load&lotid=287&auctionid=271

Its stunning to look at, the movement is amazing, its the only Co-Axial Tourbillon movement in production, and Mike wants one. All reasons to be impressed by this piece, which sold for $52,500, a strong showing on the upper end of its estimate range. I happen to want one too.

Lot 306, Omega Constellation/Seamaster Frankenwatch Misrepresented As Original Ref N/A:

    http://catalog.antiquorum.com/catalog.html?action=load&lotid=306&auctionid=271

The dial is worth some money. The Case is worth some money. The gold plated bracelet is worth money. None of them are in particularly good condition, and they sure as hell don't all belong together at all. This watch is a pile of parts assembled to look like a complete watch, and Antiquorum not only failed to point out that this isn't an original piece, they sold it as a Seamaster when its obvious that it is a Constellation case and movement with a different dial slapped on. It managed $3,375 in any case but Antiquorum need to start actually researching watches they sell.
