Bumped into this eBay listing (https://www.ebay.com/itm/172317320170Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network). Seller said that "Recently serviced at Omega, they replaced the original dial with this great applied logo dial, with superluminova". The picture clearly shows a service dial (Swiss made) and an applied logo. Curious whether it is real. Thanks, Frank
It's real but it's the wrong service dial since the correct service dial, for a 76, would not have a applied logo. I doubt if this watch was actually serviced by Omega. Anyway, INHO, overpriced for a 76 with any service dial
Hard to make out the movement serial number (probably intentionally) but it looks like 29xxxxx which is way too early. I think this watch is a cobble job. Steer clear
Right. This listing seems odd. Location in Florida but seller says 'Brazilian residents can pick up watch'.
Agree that it's doubtful Omega themselves serviced this watch. The bezel's wrong, and the case is insanely highly polished too, so I wouldn't buy this one way or another unless it were < 1/3 the price asked
Well if you have to go service dial, I guess I'd rather have one with an AML. The bezel appears to be a current production replacement one. The seller does state that then serial is in the 39XXXXX range.
