hi everyone! happy 2022 new year!

A friend went through his drawer and passed me a watch that he deemed useless and rubbish (he does it quite often). I just noticed it has an Apple logo with a quartz movement (Swiss Prestige Ltd). I didn't think much of it until lately when I read that Apple actually launched a few quartz analog watches back in the 90s. It was known as the original Apple watch. There were few articles mentioned about them here.

After that they continued to launch a few more of these quartz watches. I just noticed the one my friend gave to me (below) was just a few more they continued to launch until the "real" apple watch was released. Unfortunately, the movement inside is quite damaged, so I'll most likely need to source something similar to replace it.

I only saw one post on watchuseek selling it with the box and original strap. But wonder if anybody knows the history of it?
