The Apollo 8 is one of my bucket list watches. Really cool. The new version is also wildly cool.

I have to say, when this watch came out... I absolutely adored it. It went to the top of my list. I was so mesmerised by the dial. I tried it on and decided that it was THE watch to get. Fast forward a few years, the Moonswatch comes out, and I find a "homage" to this watch in the form of a plastic version designed to be a Moonswatch alternative. I bought it, put it on, and realised how difficult it was to read the time. Now, looking back at the proper watch... same feelings. It's really hard to see the time at a glance. What do others think?

It can be a bit difficult to read at a quick glance, most skeleton-style dials have this issue. But it is still a looker and unique in the Speedmaster world.

Oh absolutely, it’s very beautiful. I just, can’t see past the legibility of it. It’s the same with some of the black black watches… lovely; but so hard to read. (If I had the money to grow a large collection, I’d still have one 🤣).
