To All Speedy Masters, Does this Speedy look okay to you? Anything wrong? What's the reference of that model? Thanks for info. peire06
Unfortunately that's the only pic I have so far. Wanted to have Speedy Masters' views on the case, dial and hands.
Looks like a Speedmaster 176.0012. Has the Lemania derived Omega 1045 movement. Looks pretty original albeit a bit rough. The centrally located chronograph seconds and minutes hands are great features.
Hopefully you have access to more pics or can see the watch in the metal. Looks like a bit of the sunburst finish is still there, but need to see the case from a few angles. Definitely want to see the movement and the inside of the case back. One thing to be aware of is that these movements have some plastic parts that are No Longer Available and if you need one, they are very hard to come by... Notably the date support. Other than that, not horrible, but I don't like the missing lume at 10. I think you could find better without too much effort.
Thanks Bama2141. I noticed that the small hand in 12 o’clock subdial in your picture is in the 9 o’clock sundial in the picture I posted and vice versa (hand in your 9 o’clock subdial is used in the 12 o’clock sundial in mine).
After checking the images of this watch on Google it would appear that those hands were somehow reversed on your sample at some point in the past. Easily fixed I’d say.
