It's just not that nice. Lume plots aren't attractive and the hands are grotty.

If you're ok with reluming it, I suppose the bezel is nice, and maybe the case but hard to tell with those blown out photos...

Not sure if it is an artefact from the photo but the 10 in the minute subdial looks very strange.

Not to divert from the thread, but how much do you think reluming effects the value of a non-collector grade watch? I am considering having it done to a watch myself.

Personally I don’t see it as a negative, but I have seen a lot of comments implying it is.

The main issues are the obvious cosmetic ones.

If the original lume is almost gone or extremely ugly, I don't think re-luming hurts the value at all.

Here's a relumed watch with a refinished case, a spiralwinder insert and an uncle seiko bracelet. Looks way better than a scruffy worn out watch to me.

That was my assumption as well, but thanks for confirming! I guess the key is just to get it tastefully relumed rather than a too strong colour.

The 10 is damaged actually
Ah. Then I wouldn’t have really considered it as to me that would be too distracting.

Anyway, thanks for the feedback, but the watch was already sold by now for 5600 euros.
That is no deal for this one IMO, you're fortunate someone grabbed it before you did something stupid (like pay that much for that watch 😁 ).

For a non-collector grade watch, I don't think it hurts the value and may even slightly help it. I used Horoluma.com, who uses "vintage" pigments (purportedly not luminova based) and really like the result.
