Anything real here?

I got this watch in auction in a big mixed lot of watches (I wanted something else in the lot).

The movement isn't omega, but is anything else authentic? The inner case back says omega Seamaster Geneva and is marked as 18ct so may have some value? Is the watch face authentic? Would appreciate any views.

If you ever know anything on a watch is fake other than the band which many people like to change, I would avoid buying it.

I didn't buy it! It just came in a big box of old watches and I thought I had a nice surprise until I opened it!

These were really popular on street corners in NYC back in the day. I wonder at what point these fakes will be recognized for their cultural significance.

Anything else interesting in the bag?
I bid to get the Waltham half hunter. I don't have many pocket watches but like Walthams. I haven't been able to open this other omega: it looks like 9ct gold, but reserve judgement until its opened! Also found this vertex, but not sure its genuine either!

Good to see someone taking a shot and buying mixed lots. Ya never know what you might find!

The other Omega looks legit, possibly with a washed dial. That is a one-piece case, as you may realize, so don't try to remove the back.

I love that old dirty dozen Vertex, it looks like someone has put a mil-issued movement and dial into a cushion case, a good find of items of bits of stuff, i’d have bought it for the Vertex regardless of the moody Omega in there

Just to give you context so you can be more aware next time, but on the Omega you posted, the logo and subtext typeface is all wrong. The subdial cross is also too thick pointing towards a redial. The movement is also not an Omega movement and by the era of this style, they were all at least signed with the Omega logo and a serial number. On the outer caseback, Omega has never placed their logo and the gold content during this period. If they did, it was on the inner caseback.
