Hey guys,

I just got this old Angelus chronograph in 14K gold. I have a few questions on it, hopefully someone can answer. First, is there a way to date it? The cal. 210 was the precedessor to the famous Cal. 215, so I guess early to mid 30s? Also the hinge on the case is something, that wasnt use later I think. The serial number #54915 is a bit strange, since I read Angelus used 6 digits Serial numbers. So is mine just a case number?

The second question I have is considering the movement. As you can see, the balance is totally bended and needs to be changed. I have problems to find a proper part. Do someone of you know, if the balance of the Cal. 215 could fit? Both movements just differ in details, but I am no Angelus Expert to be sure. If someone has a Cal. 210 balance in stock, of course I would take it too 馃榿

Thanks, here some pics of the nice little gem. The Dial looks better in real life!

I also would guess early to mid 1930's since the scale tops out at 400km/hr

I can't add much, but this and the fixed lugs say 1930s to me as well.

Definetely 1930. Lot of similar designs from UG, Zenith, Jaeger etc around.

My guesstimate is that they use the same balance (based on a.o. this)
