    Hi all,

I have the Reverso medium (42.9 x 25.5 mm) with 19mm lug width. It looks great on a leather strap, but with summer coming I’m thinking about getting a bracelet for it. I’d love to see what you’re wearing and if there are any recommendations for aftermarket or JLC options

    Many thanks

I love my reversos, but boy am i not a fan of leather straps. I also rarely do dress watches as it doesnt really go with scrubs. Id love to see more bracelet options for the reverso.

Unfortunately I haven't seen any bracelet options either.

Mine is also on a leather strap. I did order a blue Ostrich strap to match the hands. It still being shipped so I can't really comment on the color yet.

Forsterner bands has the 9 and 7 link beads of rice that work. That was the only option I could find that seemed to work well. I'll post up photos later today.

Another option is the rubberb swimskin black or blue alligator strap if youre not set on a bracelet.

Previous reversos I had on bracelets. Old wrist shots and you can’t see much of the bracelet unfortunately (all watches long since gone). The BoR is the Forstner one I think

You’ve had some nice watches! With the lug holes closer to the case then the lug ends, I’ve wondered how these flat bar bracelets would fit. It’s not bad. BOR or mesh, both look nice. I’d lean to the BOR I think.

    thanks for the pictures.

I like the looks of the mesh together with an reverso head. It’s just such a clean and classic bracelet design that should work really well with the unique head of a reverso.

The focus will stay on the head and the bracelet will compliment the watch itself.
I have a totally different vintage piece on a mesh and it works really well, although this dress watch never came on steel/mesh bracelet originally.

Mesh bracelets for me always seem to look better and of higher quality then BoR bracelets that are not the original omega BoR bracelets designs from the 60s

But may be it’s because I am just a fan of mesh bracelets and mesh bracelets on classic vintage/dress watches.

Not the best photos but you get the idea. This is the 9 link version from forstner bands.

You’re right, those are poor photos. Could you send me the watch so I could see some more detail :D

Seriously, thanks a bunch, that looks amazing.

How do you like the Forstner clasp? I’m thinking that their push button deployant might be more elevated. Or, is the standard clasp that comes with it fine? I have the medium Reverso, so I’m thinking that the 7 row BOR would look best.

Well I would but you’ve already got a medium reverso. No need to double up your collection. lol

Not a problem at all. The clasp is a good clasp and I don’t think I’ll have any issues with it. I haven’t worn the bracelet much yet as I got it for summertime like you’re looking for. I do think the push button would elevate the bracelet though. I don’t think you’d regret. I’ve got the medium as well. I couldn’t find any pics with the 7 row so I went with the 9 since I knew I’d like that look off the 1 Instagram photo I could find lol

    This o
This one? The shape certainly mirrors a Reverso, but I wonder if it is too beefy?
    IMG_0572.jpeg

My watchmaker had a Reverso on a BOR for sale about 5 or 6 years ago, but he was asking, to the best of my memory, about $3500, which is obviously way too much money . It looked really good on a BOR

I just read this thread. I too have considered adding a Reverso to my collection. The lack of bracelet options has been an issue for me too. Did you try the Forstner 9 link?

Totally forgot to post it ::facepalm2::. A Reverso looks amazing on steel, but the right steel is elusive. The Forstner is a really nice bracelet, but it only looks good on a Reverso from a distance. The Reverso’s lug holes are closer to the watch than they are to the end of the lugs, so there is 1mm or so of lug ends hanging out. I might need to try and find a vintage bracelet that fits. I’ll actually write to Forstner today to see if they would make Reverso-specific end links. They’d do well selling it, and JLC would feel shame for not offering one to their customers - the ideal result in my eyes ;)
