Boba Fat... am I right?

although makes sense considering how thin he was in RotJ.

Ha! His performance was great though. That was a great action sequence.

OH COME ON! But gotta admit, the 'deep-faking' tech is getting quite good.

Edit: I'm referring to the Finale

Just wondered if any forum members are fans of the SW universe? I enjoyed the first episode of season 2 of Mandalorian... did you guys?

You can't go wrong when you cast Timothy Olyphant as a Marshall 😀

I enjoyed the season. And the finale makes perfect sense. That said like others I do feel like the great thing about Mandalorian is that is was a parallel story in a vast universe. Now it is fully lined up with the original trilogies and the Skywalker saga.

The way this is going Baby Yoda is Snoke!! and he turns Ben Solo to the dark side.

I had tears in my eyes for the last 15 minutes. Thank you Jon Favreau. Thank you Dave Filoni. That episode was better than the ENTIRE sequel trilogy!

Just finished the season finale and enjoyed every minute of it. Between the cameo at the end and the post credits scene, my nerd flag was flying in excitement!

Season 3 has already been announced so it will be interesting to see where Mando goes from here?

PSA: Don't miss the post credits scene!!

Welp. Just finished it, and only almost cried twice. Almost. Can’t wait for next December with my main man:

Also, RIP Mr. Jeremy Bullock, the legend who played the original Boba Fett. 🙁

It’s interesting that Luke was wearing such a dark outfit.

in any event the Jedi fighting definitely makes my point that they messed up with Ashoka’s fighting as she should be, by all accounts, a much more skilled fighter then Avalon.

Ashoka: trained at the temple, Palawan of Amazon, fighting though the clone wars and the rebellion

Luke: largely self trained, with some late training from Yoda, very limited war fighting experience ( compared to Ashoka anyway.

yet. Anakin slices through a whole ship of dark troopers, much like ashoka during the clone wars and Ashoka can barely work out a duel with a nine force sensitive human with a spear.

Even Mando’s fight with Mof G was better than ashokas

Just shows you how larger-than-life Luke Skywalker is in the world of Star Wars. You have to consider this: Luke singlehandedly destroyed the first Death Star just by flying around in an X-Wing, and destroyed the second Death Star with Darth Vader and Emperor Palpatine on it (which I think everyone in the Empire assumed it was Luke’s doing).

Why do you think Moff Gideon was losing his mind once he realized who was coming aboard his ship? Being former ISB, Gideon knows EXACTLY who Luke is, just like everyone else in the Empire. He’s absolutely terrified of him because of Luke’s track record. He’d rather kill himself (well, try to) than face Skywalker. Gideon is cocky and very self-assured, even when held by Din and the group - until Luke shows up. In that moment he immediately shifts to desperation, and is terrified knowing Luke's arrival means he has lost the fight.

When you see the black glove and green lightsaber:

Luke wore the same in ROTJ, and you could see Anankin's garb become darker shades of brown till black in the prequels. I guess like father like son? Or maybe Luke is just a fashionista? 😜 I jumped up in my seat when I put the X-Wing, green lightsabre, 1 bare hand and 1 black-gloved hand all together. I felt quite foolish indeed to have not even considered that he would play a part in all this. So much for Ezra et al.

In the sequel trilogies, Luke goes back to lighter shades of clothing; I guess that continued training with Force-Yoda took things to the next level.

I wonder where exactly Baby Yoda was during the slaughter at the Jedi Temple and after. Did Order 66 not apply? Looking forward to Season 3!

Grogu: “hey Anakin, it was super messed up that the council didn’t promote you to master.”

Anakin: “hey thanks btw, don’t come to the temple tomorrow.”

A buddy sent this, had to share this with you all. R2 really got around! I wonder if he plugged into Gideon's ship...or a Darktrooper

I was so excited to see Luke Skywalker actually show up for the first time in thirty-seven years. A fully realized jedi that is a protector and mentor, not the jaded failure we got in the sequels.

Gideon was so confident, he knew those troopers were going to make it onto the bridge and wreck Mando and company. Then that x-wing shows up and just ruins his day, the man who almost single handedly destroyed the Empire is on his cruiser and coming for Grogu.

Will probably rewatch the entire series a couple more times before I get bored. Best thing Disney has done with the Star Wars property, Rogue One a distant second, and the sequel trilogy not even on the list. (I hope they get reconned out of existence a la X3). Definitely within my top 5 TV shows made in the last 5 years.

The BF and I were in awe and then tears the last 15 minutes of the episode. And now, ladies and gents, we live in a world where Luke Skywalker and Asoka Tano are three episodes of a show apart. How fυcking cool is that?!?!

I'm personally hoping the Book of Boba Fett is a limited series (6-8 episodes similar to The Queens Gambit) rather than another full show.
