Has anyone tried the Artem single fold deployant clasp they have on their site? I feel it's rather new as I don't recall seeing it on their site before. I figured for $47 ($53 with shipping) I'll give it a shot. I have the OEM Omega one in 16mm but I really want one in 18mm. I ordered one from ewatchparts and this one, so I'll see how they compare, but I wanted to see if anyone else had any experience with it.

I ordered one on March 1st. Should be here any day now. Once it arrives I’ll share some feedback.

What strap do you plan on using with it? I think the straps I have are going to be too thick. I was looking at getting one from Genteel Handmade as they make straps specifically for Omega deployants. Cheaper than OEM too.

I actually ordered one of Artem’s straps and opted to get the deployant with it. I may eventually get a Genteel for it though, they have been on my radar.

I have one, and I wear it on an Omega strap so I can switch straps more quickly without having to also switch the clasp. It's shorter than the Omega clasp. Depending on the size of your wrist, that curve might not fit your wrist perfectly. It fits my wrist okay, but not as good as the Omega one. The picture below shows the clasps next to each other (Omega on left, Artem on right).

The space that keeps the other side of the strap is a little wider on the Artem, so it will likely be useable on more straps (Omega - left; Artem - right).

Finally, the closing mechanism is not as robust as on the Omega. It doesn't close and lock as easily as the Omega, so make sure to give it a check to make sure it locked properly. It is also is sometimes difficult to open and I have to give it a good tug. But overall, for the price, it's a good option for a Omega-like clasp for a lot less money.

My biggest issue so far with the deployant is there seems to be a bit of wiggle room, although I think it’s more a function of the size of the holes of this particular strap. Once I try it out on some other straps I can update further.

I do have to say, this is a very comfortable strap and the best alternative to the bracelet that I’ve found to-date.

yes, the holes on the strap are significantly wider than the holes on most straps (and the prong on the clasp). The clasp will actually fit other straps better than the Artem strap it is intended for! Because of this, I’ve gone back to wearing the strap on the buckle, not the clasp.
